"Food was excellent, game night so they had Bears vs Packers on the screen. The owner came out to greet us and see how we enjoyed our meal. Davita's service was top tier! Dining here was like sitting at my Mississippi grandmother's table! The food is flavorful without being overly salty. We had smothered chicken wings, greens, Mac and cheese, cabbage, rice and gravy, candy sweet potatoes, cornbread dressing, corn muffins, hot water cornbread. Side dishes are pork free! All was GOOD! There is a full bar with counter and plenty of seating.They cater by the pan and half pan as well, I will definitely be back."

"First time trying. Drive over an hour. They were brought to my attention from a post on social media. We were friendly immediately. Guided to choose where we wanted to sit. Placed our orders. Food came out quickly. Very fresh and hot. We dined in but the food was in to-go containers. That didn't take away from taste, so we overlooked it. Our waitress was very attentive. I'd come again if out this way."

"I took my family to creed on Juneteenth, we really enjoyed ourselves. We he food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the chicken wings with three sides I added a side. My husband ordered the smothered pork chops with 3 sides. Everything was hot and fresh! The drinks were good also. Great atmosphere, can't wait to come back and try the gumbo and banana pudding!! It was only one server and he was handling everything with perfection as it was getting crowded. I love that we have a soulfood restaurant in town."

"This is my 2nd visit Food was a waste My first visit was pleasant went in a Sunday mid afternoon Food was good - no complaints 2nd visit Smothered Chicken was hard cold thick gravy. Was not fresh tasted like they reheated and added gravy Smothered pork not tender more gravy then meat Cabbage had flavor but extra spicy for no reason Dressing was dry taste old They didn't have no cranberry sauce Which was actually good the first time I tried it Greens was good Muffin was store bought I was not expecting this for a 2nd visit Restaurant seating area was slight crowd"

"Everyone was very nice, and the servers had great attitudes. The fried chicken was seasoned & cooked well. The greens, Mac, & black eyed beans were delicious. I also ordered dressing (which was just okay), and my container wasn't filled completely, so I felt cheated. The dine in aesthetic is that of a southern grandma's house. Regarding the meat choices, I wish baked chicken was an option, but they do offer smoked chicken for those that don't want fried food. Finally, the food is reasonably priced, & overall I had a great experience; I will definitely return."

"Bartender/Host/Server named Daveda is hands down our favorite! She always welcomes us and others with a smile and positive energy! She is one of the main reasons that we continue to come back. You can easily spot her multitasking and always asking customers "Can I get you anything?" Customer service like this is hard to find in the restaurant business! Food is good and portions are a good size. We sometimes order to-go and everything is always ready on time and nice and hot."

"First time ordering and everything taste wonderful! Honorable mention for the smothered pork chops and the catfish. In fact, the best catfish that I've had in the eight years that I've lived in the area!! I will definitely be back. I also enjoyed eating the cornbread muffin with my cabbage and greens too."
